Conditions Treated

At Miranda Chiropractic we believe in non-invasive and natural therapy to heal your aches and pains.  Using a variety of techniques, a chiropractor is able to eliminate pain in joints and muscles while restoring overall health and balance to the body.  Below, let's examine just a few of the conditions our professional team regularly treats.

Conditions Treated

Back and Neck Pain

The back and neck are central to the body and can impact even the simplest, everyday movement.  Back and neck pain can be caused by any number of injuries or conditions.  Herniated and bulging discs are a common cause of neck and back pain.  Vertebrae can become damaged or fractured.  Neck and back pain can also be the result from a pulled muscle in the back.  In more serious cases, neck and back pain can be caused by spinal stenosis.  All of these common causes for back and neck pain can be treated by a chiropractor.

Chronic Disorders

We commonly work with many chronic conditions that cause back pain.  This can include both osteoporosis and arthritis.  Both of these diseases can impact the back and can make even the smallest movements painful. As a degenerative disease, osteoporosis becomes worse with age as bones become brittle and more susceptible to fracture.  Arthritis can occur at any age, but is most commonly found in older patients.  If you suffer from chronic migraines or headaches, a chiropractor can help alleviate the severity or the frequency of occurrences.

Soft Tissue Injuries

People often do not consider a chiropractor to help with soft tissue injuries, but many of our techniques, including physical therapy and medical massage, can help tremendously.  We regularly treat sprains and strains in muscles, tendons, and ligaments in any part of the body.  Further, through stretching and strengthening of muscles, we can help strengthen the muscles that surround the injury to help alleviate pain in a soft tissue injury.

Posture

If you have poor posture, or your spine is misaligned, a chiropractor will be able to help.  We have several techniques and manual manipulations that can help realign the spine.  Further, through stretching and strengthening exercises, we can train and strengthen the muscles surrounding the spine to promote a life of good posture.  A chiropractor may prescribe physical therapy to continue treatment even while you are not at the chiropractor's office.

No matter your condition, the professional team at Miranda Chiropractic is eager to help.  Our practice is located at 74-5620 Suite 102, Kailua Kona, HI, 96740.  To learn more about how we can help, please call our office at (808) 331-1205 today.  We are accepting new patients and are here to help you to live a healthy, pain free life.
